Georgian Foreign Minister Vashadze believes that Iran has the right to peaceful use of nuclear energy, but "it entails obligations, must be strictly complied with the procedures and processes of the International Atomic Energy Agency.

We recall, November 3, Vashadze and Mottaki signed the agreement on visa-free regime between Georgia and Iran. The document will enter into force in early 2011.

Mottaki called the abolition of the visa regime "historical phenomenon" and "a new stage in Georgian-Iranian relations."

"With this move, both countries re-established historical tradition, when we could move without hindrance. In the future this will promote tourism, strengthen economic cooperation, and Iranian businessmen will invest investment in Georgia "- said Iranian Foreign Minister.

He also said that Iran is closely following the processes occurring in the Caucasus region.

In addition, the day before, after a 10-year hiatus, resumed direct flights between Tbilisi and Tegeran.
