Turkey will help the formation of a Palestinian state on 1967 borders

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas met in Ankara with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Erdogan. According to the agency Maan, the subject of the talks is the progress of peace talks between the PNA and Israel, the situation in the West Bank and efforts to achieve reconciliation between Fatah and Hamas. As stated after the meeting the representative of the Palestinian Authority in Turkey, Nabil Marouf, Ankara has supported the creation of a Palestinian state within the 1967 borders, and promised to contribute to this by using their relations with other countries.
